When we talk about commercial intention, we’re talking about weather the keyword has a history of generating sales based on the keywords past performance. The thing about keywords is that some may have a high search volume, but have a poor history of generating sales; this would make those keywords useless as far as selling something is concerned. But keywords that have poor commercial intention may have some value in generating leads for mailing list. These lists could possibly lead to sales over time from your subscriber base.

So when we look at all the criteria that our keywords need to meet, we start to see that it is not always going to be easy to find good keywords. The big question is how we find these keywords. One thing that we can do to make our search for keywords a bit easier is to go for the low hanging fruit, as they say in the industry.
What I mean by this is we don’t concentrate on single keyword terms, but rather we look for keyword phrases. Getting back to the example of the cars, instead of my keyword being “cars” it might be “Ford Tempo cars”, this is being a lot more definitive about what I am selling or promoting. This also lowers the competition by using a (longtail) keywords definition.

If I were to use the term “buy Ford Tempo cars” now by adding the word buy into this phrase, I will have a phrase with a higher commercial intention. The fact that the keywords definition is such a long search term, lowers the possibility of competition of this phrase.

Now to sum this up, when you use a phrase like “buy Ford Tempo cars” this is often referred to as a (longtail) keyword phrase. These longtail have some distinctive characteristics. The longer your keyword phrase means a sharp drop in competition, but greater commercial intention for the phrase. The only bad thing about longtail terms is they always have lower searc h volume.

Well this covers this segment on keywords definition. In the next article I will discuss how we find those keyword phrases, what free tools are available to help us in our search. We will also look at how you can use Google to do a lot of your keyword research.

How many times have you written articles and never had them noticed? The problem might be that your article was not optimized for specific keywords. Choose specific keywords when writing yours articles and use them in the title and throughout your document. keyword density is basically calculating the number of times that your specific keyword is used within your article.

The first thing that you want to remember is that you do not want to overstuff your article or document with your intended keywords. If anything, this will hurt your site or article from ever being seen for the reason of being rejected or worse, labeled as spam. By checking your keyword density before hand you reduce the risk of your article being rejected and help to improve the search engine results.

You will need to check for keyword density within your article by counting the number of times that your keyword appears. If your article is three hundred words in length, you would divide the number of keywords by three hundred to get your keyword density for that article. The accepted norm for keyword density is around three to five percent, which will get you noticed by the search engines.

As an example, let’s say that your total number of keywords which are in your article is twelve times. You would simply divide twelve by three hundred and come up with four percent keyword density in that article. This is right in the middle of the rule which will make your article acceptable.

The standard three to five percent rule for keyword density will apply to all your articles. Also, this rule will apply for other keywords placed in your article, whether single keywords or keyword phrases. A simple procedure to check your keyword density would be to place your content in software like word.

Than click on the tools menu and select the word count, this will give you the total number of words in your article. After you get the total word count, select the find function in the edit menu. Click on the replace tab and type in your keyword that you want to find. Than replace that word with the exact same keyword so no changes will be made to the original article.

When you finish the replace function the system provides you with a total count of the words you replaced. This is the number of times that you used the keyword in your article. With the total word count that you previously got and the total of the keywords you will now be able to calculate what your keyword density is for your article.

Another way of performing this would be to use a keyword density analyzer tool which will perform the same function in one step. This type of tool can also perform other functions based on keywords and phrases and can also analyze the keywords from competing websites.

No matter which method you choose to use, it is best to stay within the parameters of the keyword density rule. This will help to ensure that your document is received by the search engines and that your article will not be rejected.

Here, the term keyword density is of importance. This refers to the number of times a keyword appears in article, to the total number of words in the article.

Writing Articles

To recap, you just need to choose your topic, write articles using keywords which attract plenty of searches but which don’t have too many competitors already and submit to top class article directories.

The best way to write the great articles using keywords

The reason for all this focus on the use of keywords is that is totally being abused by people.

Online advertising lives by the same rule. With the fast rising competitiveness of internet marketing, you need a comprehensive search marketing intelligence tool to take your business to an even playing field with the companies that matter and reach a wide profitable market. The right information shooting at the right target market will convert site traffic to leads. KeywordSpy will help you determine effective keywords for searchability and ad formation for maximum visibility to potential customers.

There is no use having a website that does not get any traffic. The investment that we made on our website will be justified only when we get the desired conversions out of our website. We will not be able to get the desired conversions until we manage to drive some decent traffic to our website. If we have to get good search traffic, we should make sure that we are on top of all our competitors.

For any business to be successful online, we should know our strengths and weaknesses. Besides that, we should also know who our competitors are and what they are doing to promote their business, etc. Our success or failure in business is also dependent on what our competitors are doing. If we can get that information, we will easily be able to come up with decisive strategies to keep ourselves one-step ahead of our competitors. We will still be able to plan our marketing strategies without taking into consideration what our competitors are doing. However, such an approach will be like shooting in the dark. We will be able to achieve faster results when we know what we are fighting against.

By finding an effective keyword tool, we will be able to keep track of our competitors’ online marketing efforts and the keywords that they are targeting. All along, we have been making our marketing efforts based on the general market trend because we did not have any keyword research tools that we could use to find the keywords that are targeted by our competitors. Even when we were able to find the keywords for which their websites are optimized we could never have access to their paid advertising efforts. With the help of KeywordSpy, you will not only be able to find out about your competitors’ keywords, but you will also be able to know about their paid advertising campaigns. You do not have to rely just on general market reports but you can have special access to your competitors’ specific marketing efforts. When you base your advertising and optimization efforts based on general market reports, your efforts too would be only general. If you want to make specific moves against your competition then visit Keywordspy.com.br

You can generate complete reports on your competitors’ PPC, their organic keywords list, affiliate advertising campaigns etc. All this information will give insight into your competitor’s business plans at any given point of time so that you can shape yours to beat your competition. KeywordSpy offers a number of flexible packages for your search marketing intelligence need to suit your budget and specific keyword research needs. When it comes to fighting our competition, the sooner we start our efforts the better.

KeywordSpy will save you a lot of time and effort required for the preparation of market reports. Now you can have your competitor specific reports on your fingertips. Visit KeywordSpy.com.br to find more about the keyword research tool packages and for free trial.

What are keywords? Why do we need them? Keywords are the words or phrases that people use when searching for information on the internet.

When composing a website or a blog it is important that we list the appropriate keywords in the heading section so that people can easily find us.

If your website does not contain related keywords, surfers will not even know that your website exists. Make sure that the words and phrases that you list are relevant to your article.

The words and phrases should be those that a potential customer would use when searching for information that relates to your area of expertise.

Look at your new website through the eyes of a stranger. What search words or phrases would you use to find this site? Read the text to see if those particular words or phrases are there to be found. If your choice is contained in the headline, you have the best chance of success. If it is in the first chapter or in a sub headline and repeated further down the page, you are still on a winner.

If you can think up two or three more relevant search terms and incorporate them within your text in a natural manner, you are well on the way to creating a profitable website. Make sure that these keywords and phrases are listed in your keyword list in the header of your website. This is where the search engines will be looking.

Not everyone restricts themselves to a single word when making a search. Phrases of two, three or even four words are often used. These generally make for a much more detailed search and only if you have listed these short phrases within your keyword list will your particular website be found.

In order to achieve success your keyword list should contain terms and phrases that are descriptive, related to your content, and which receive a significant amount of searches.

Ideally, you want to find terms and phrases where there is little competition, so you quickly achieve high ranking in the important search engines,

Markets that have thousands of sites, all competing for the same keywords and search terms, make it important that you try to discover one or two words or phrases that few others are listing.

You can bet that every one of the most popular keywords are listed on the vast majority of the websites in your genre. Use them by all means but also list some of the less popular more targeted ones that are aimed at a niche within your site as well. Words that the big boys would not bother with. They are all capable of bringing some traffic to your site.

So. How do you discover these more obscure keywords? There are tools on-line that are designed to help you to do just that. I like Keyword tumbler.com You give it a few relevant keywords or phrases and it will come up with loads of different variations. It will list variations that you would never have thought of on your own.

Another one that I like to use is: Digital point. you will find it at. .digitalpoint.com/tools/suggestion/ This is a keyword suggestion tool. - You enter a search phrase to see how often it’s searched for, as well as getting suggestions for alternate (but similar) keywords. It will show you the results of your query determining which phrases are searched for most often.

Overture Keyword Tool is another very useful tool. After entering a keyword or phrase, Overture provides a list of related phrases that have been searched on. It will then provide a count that indicates the number of times the phrase has been searched on. /inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/

‘Topword Tool’, will analyze a complete web page and counts keyword occurrences, as well as phrases, equal to or above the number set in the Minimum Occurrences setting. It supplies a list of keywords and phrases which are most likely to achieve the highest rankings on a major search engine.

The tool will also analyze your meta description, keyword and title tags and then, through colour coding, inform you of words and phrases which should be included. The main use for this tool is checking your optimization and tweaking existing web sites to rank well. You will find it at: abakus-internet-marketing.de/tools/topword.html/

There are many other sites that will do a similar job. Most of them equally as well but with a slightly different slant. I am not saying that those that I have mentioned are better in any particular way. They are just the ones that I use on a regular basis. A quick search on Google will bring up quite a long list.

It is no use designing the most attractive website in the world if no one is going to find it or even know it is there. Keywords and phrases are the actual key to a profitable website, make sure that your website is the one that is easiest to find and gets the most hits.

That’s it for now. There is more to building a website than meets the eye. I just hope that I have given you a few useful hints.

In the beginning it is always rough. It’s called trial and error and we all go through it. It can’t be helped. I wish it could be easier, but the trials we go through trying to promote our websters can be time consuming and very expensive.

The cure is in training. Anytime you enter a new business it is vital to learn the ropes. Unfortunately, most people getting involved in internet marketing don’t have a clue about what they are doing. They buy into a great sounding get rich program and learn the hard way that there is a lot more to it that just signing up and giving up a few dollars. There is much to be done and it all begins with marketing your product, company or website.

The way to avoid making any costly mistakes is by reading and acquiring training. Of course, many of these get rich programs fail to offer the type of support a newbie needs to succeed. They lack the training. Which can be described as part of the trial and error process. The reason for this is simple: it is not a good program. The only people getting rich off of these types of programs are the programs owner. So when making a decision on where to spend your money, research each company thoroughly. Don’t make the mistake of joining anything that requires you to go out and purchase leads, tells you all you have to do is advertise or to use PPC without offering the proper training.

Although PPC is probably the best and fastest way to acquire leads it can also be the most costly, especially if you don’t know what you are doing. So before using this form of advertising read all that you can on the subject. You can find all that you need at Google Adwords or the that Yahoo/Overture campaign page.

Advertising on the internet is trial and error. There are so many avenues to pursue. Article writing can be a valuable source to gather leads for your business. It can also be rewarding as your writing techniques improve. There are many others, and it is best to find the one that best suits your budget and your personal desires. One of the most popular forms is video training using You Tube. This will give you a chance to personalize your message and gives your viewer’s a good look at who they will be working with.

I find it important to list the most popular forms of online marketing. I will give you my list and describe what I like and use the most. I try and use all of them, but it would not be smart if you are a newbie to try and do this. It would be better if you started with one and as soon as you begin to see results, in the form of prospects and sales then and only then should you move onto something else.

My Space is at the top of the list. Besides being able to buy advertising, you can find people who share the same interests. Then it is important to build a relationship without trying to sell your business. Get them to trust you first and then make an offer.

There are also list builders like Viral Url and List Joe.com. These companies will pump out your message thousands of members who in order to gain credits must click on the ad so there own ad and sight will be seen. It’s a win-win and you should be able to gain between 20-30 prospects each month from such an approach.

Free classified is yet another. There is a certain appeal to this form of advertising because it is free, but personally I have never had much luck with it.

Facebook is a good way to get seen. It is a popular site where thousands of like minded individuals congregate to engage in marketing their business. So it is really important to establish yourself as someone who is knowledgeable and good at interacting. Remember this is a social site, so be sociable and create relationships.

Another popular form of marketing is the use of forums. I use these regularly and have established some very valuable relationships. It is a good place to get tips and answer to any problems you may be having.

There are many different forms of advertising and I have barely scratched the surface. Traffic exchanges, text exchanges, ad exchanges and many more. Through trial and error you will find what works best for you.

My advice is to read as much as you can and become knowledgeable, enabling you to help others which will increase your online credibility. Another thing I should add is to find a program that interests you and offers complete training. Training is key. Online marketing is always changing and new methods are always being created, so try being creative yourself and who knows you may crack the code. This could lead to millions. I wish you the best of luck and hope some of the info I have written here you have found helpful. Take care and good luck.

As you probably know, Google AdWords is a pay-per-click marketing system, which is a great way to get traffic to your site. But if you don’t know the ins and outs, it can end up costing you a lot of money and not making you any.

So, what’s the key to success with AdWords? Well, I wish I could tell you there were one or two simple tricks, but the fact is, the best way to ensure success with AdWords is to be familiar with every aspect of the system. This will likely take weeks or months of research, plus a few bucks spent testing out a real AdWords account. However, you can greatly increase your chances by following this bit of advice: don’t skimp on the keyword research!

Maybe you had it in your head that you could go through your site, grab 20 or 30 words or phrases, load them into an ad group, and you’d be watching the traffic and sales pour in. This is simply not the case. Keyword research should be the most time-consuming part of setting up any campaign; not only that, but you should be doing it all the time. That’s right never stop building your keyword list. Okay, now let me explain a few things:

First, you need to understand how Google uses your keywords to show your ads. You place a bid that determines your maximum cost per click (CPC) for each keyword. This can be different for every single keyword, if you wish. This bid does not represent the amount you’ll pay for each click (like on Overture); this is just the maximum you’ll ever pay for any single click. For example, if you have a max CPC of $0.50 set for a keyword, you’ll only have to pay the full amount if someone else bids $0.49. If that person decides to lower his bid to $0.30, you’ll only pay $0.31. This is because Google’s bid discounter only charges you one cent more than the next highest bidder, no matter what your max CPC is. Theoretically, then, you could bid $10 or even $100 and still only pay $0.31 for a click.

But that’s not all! As you start getting impressions (i.e., your ad shows up in the search results) and clicks, you’ll have a click-through rate (CTR). This represents the number of clicks you receive per 100 impressions. Here’s the really beautiful thing about AdWords: the higher your CTR, the lower your click cost. Because Google values relevance, you’ll receive a bonus for having a relevant ad, and CTR is the primary indicator of how relevant your ad is. So, let’s say you’re competing with someone for ad position No. 3 on the search results page for a particular keyword. Your max bid is $0.50 and his is $1. He should be way above you, right? Not necessarily. Suppose you have a CTR of 5%, and his is only 1%. Google factors in CTR when calculating ad positions, so you end up with this: max CPC CTR = (what we’ll call) ranking factor. In this case, your ranking factor is 0.025, while your competitor’s is only 0.01. Which means your ad shows above his for $0.50, even though he’s willing to pay up to $1!

Okay, so now you know the basics of how keywords work in AdWords and how Google charges you for clicks. What’s next? Keyword research. The best way to go about this is to use WordTracker. I won’t get really specific about how WordTracker works, because they’ve got a ton of information right there on the site just go do some reading there when you finish this article. Basically, though, WordTracker will help you find the best keywords to use in your AdWords campaign. You type in any word, and you’ll get up to 300 related terms, which you can then click on to find a few hundred variations of that term. The terms you’ll get are all terms from WordTracker’s search query database, which uses metacrawlers to compile information (again, they explain it on their site if you’re really interested). So you know that all the words you find there are real terms that people are actually searching for. Even better, you get a prediction of how many searches to expect per day for any keyword, how many times it shows up in their database, and a KEI value to determine your best words (KEI stands for Keyword Effectiveness Index, which you can also read about on the site). You can get a free trial, or you can sign up for a single day to test it out with all the features included (a day’s membership is just a few bucks).

There are some free keyword research tools you can use, but I recommend these only for absolute newcomers who have no budget to start out with. Overture’s Keyword Inventory is a good, free resource, but there’s a catch: it shows results only for searches done through www.yahoo.com. If you’re marketing with Google AdWords, you should know that Google accounts for at least twice as many searches as Yahoo!, in some cases three or four times as many. (Though reports vary, Google usually receives credit for about 50-60% of all searches, while Yahoo! gets about 20-30% but this is based on all searches, and results for individual searches may vary widely.) You may find other ‘free’ tools or downloadable programs that claim to help you with keyword research, but I say don’t bother with them. You get what you pay for. Most of them just pull their results directly from other free online tools, and they don’t offer anything in the way of features unless you buy the ‘full version.’ If you’re out to get one for free, just use Overture. (Google’s own traffic estimator is decent, but it doesn’t give you an exact count for searches within a given period; you just get status bars, which are hard to interpret. Google’s bid and position estimates are also usually way off.)

But third-party tools, even if they’re very good, won’t do your keyword research for you. You’ll have to pick through your web site (or your affiliate’s sales letter) for words and phrases that you can use. Then, using those words, see if you can think of similar words or concepts that people might be searching for. There’s no real trick to this; you’ve just got to do a lot of brainstorming. Once you’ve got a good core list, take that over to WordTracker to beef it up. (Hint: If you see any words that don’t directly relate to your product, service, or niche, add them as negative matches.)

Now you should have a lean but healthy keyword list. This is your first step to beating out your competition on Google AdWords.

Do you need an Adwords expert to help achieve success in your PPC advertising? You might imagine that you do need one if you’ve got a campaign that isn’t going so well. And relying on your present position, you will gain advantage from an Adwords specialist. But there are some things you can try on your own. If you are just starting in pay per click marketing you could be nearly convinced to get an expert to help right away. But PPC isn’t as complex or hard as you might imagine. So if you are struggling or only beginning, there’s no sure answer to if you’d like an Adwords advisor or not.
If you are one of people that has spent cash on PPC campaigns and seen few clicks become sales, first look at your keywords. Could you select better keywords that might get m ore targeted traffic who are probably going to buy? Often a PPC campaign is just based round the incorrect keywords. Use as many keyword tools as you can to find the best keywords for your internet site. Google’s keyword tool is free and there are some other free keyword tools on the internet. If you have it in your position to do so, purchase a top-rated keyword tool to assist in finding the best targeted phrases for your site.
Then try the campaign again with your improved keywords. If you see no improvement or not enough improvement, you will look at your site. A problem with your site is something an Adwords consultant can not help you with any way, so it’s best to build if this is the issue first. Just having a site that gives a product isn’t enough. You wish to have glorious content that gives folk data.
If they get good information from your internet site, they come to trust in you more. Then they are much more likely to get something found at your site.
An online site that is nothing aside from a page where someone can click and buy something will be passed over. Not only is there no reason for someone to come except to buy, it even looks suspicious. Would you give your Credit card number or any money to a site like that? How would you know you are not going to be cheated? So make your website as good as you possibly can.
Fill it with good information and helpful information about your subject. And let your visitors join email updates or newsletters that may help them get even extra data. A visitor may not make a purchase the first time he clicks onto your page. But the more he sees your message through email newsletters, updates and more visits to your page, the more likely he becomes to make a purchase. That is basically a selling statistic, not just viewpoint. If your website’s as good as you can make it and you are still not having success, an Adwords expert might be ready to help optimize your campaign for better results.

Here are few factors that you need to take into consideration while selecting your keyword tool.

First of all, you should know how you are going to put your keyword tool into use. The functionality of the keyword research tools vary from one product to the other. You should select a product based on your specific need. It should meet all your requirements. There are keyword tools that just suggest best keywords for a website. There are keyword research tools that help the webmasters to bid on the right keywords for their PPC campaign. This is just the basic functionality of a regular keyword tool.

There are more sophisticated keyword tools that do not stop with suggesting good keywords for your PPC campaign; they also have other advanced features like the ones we find with KeywordSpy tool. Such advanced keyword research tools provides us with search marketing intelligence. These tools collect data on a number of search marketing intelligence parameters and the data collected will provide us information on competitors’ keywords. With the use of this keyword tool, we can prepare market reports in just few clicks. Besides saving you lot of time, the market report will also contain valuable data on your competitors advertising pattern and affiliate networks.

If you want to gain insight into search marketing intelligence and workout strategies to combat online competition, then you must select a keyword tool like KeywordSpy.

When you select your keyword tool to generate market reports, you must pick a tool that is easy to use. If it has a complicated user interface, the learning curve will be a long one. Before you could learn to use it, your competitors will leave you behind and progress fast. If it is too complicated, you will be forced to hire someone who could use the tool effectively. This will increase the overall cost of your online advertising efforts.

The next important factor that you should take into consideration before you choose your keyword research tool is that it should have all the latest features on search marketing intelligence including reports on paid advertising campaigns of your competitor and their affiliate marketing efforts. When you get such an advanced keyword tool, you may not have to look for another keyword research tool with advanced functionality in a short time. This will also ensure that you get maximum value for your money.

Cost will be another major deciding factor when you are picking your keyword research tool. You should be able to get flexible pricing packages that meet your needs. You should not end up paying for features that you will never use for your marketing efforts.

If you are looking for the best keyword tool, visit KeywordSpy.co.uk. It is one of the best keyword research tools that will tell exactly your competitors keywords and their paid advertising efforts targeting various countries.

WHAT ARE DOMAIN NAMES?

Website is your location (i.e. your office) and name in the Internet world. There is no way you can easily differentiate between big organisations from small ones through their websites. Therefore, it makes you look big and can do business through out the world even when you are sleeping. Website can easily be defined as the hosting of domain name. Domain names are host names that provide memorable names to stand for numeric Internet protocol {IP} addresses. They make us (human beings) to easily interact with websites and other network services. Computers communicate through IP addresses e.g.196.168.56.10, 80.229.24.50, etc. Domain names are Yahoo.com, alamkin.net,Google.com, Forexinformation.org, Hotmail.com, etc.

HOW TO CHOOSE GOOD DOMAIN NAMES?

The name you give your website has much to say about you. When I was preparing this article, I have to check some domain names to know whether they exist. Will you be surprised if I tell you that websites like Devil.com, Lesbian.com, Terrorist.com and Oralsex.com exist live on the Internet. Who are the visitors to these sites? For the name you give to your website has much to say about you for examples Dogs.com and Birds.com are self explanatory. Any visitor to these sites has actually known what he is likely to see.

These tools will guide you in choosing your domain names. (a) Overture suggestion tools:It shows you how many times people searched for the word(s) or term(s) you want to register in the last one month (it is yahoo-advertising network). It is highly recommended that it should be more than 8,000 times. Note that overture combines the result of both plural and singular searches i.e. if you are searching for the word ‘chair’ it will bring results on both ‘chair ‘and ‘chairs’.

(b) Google.com: Millions of people search on Google search box daily, this makes it a place where we can check for the popularity of the word or terms we are looking for. If the term is more than one word for example ‘baby shoes’, it is better you put it in quote like ‘baby shoes’ when typing it on Google search box. Google search pages will show how many pages contain the word(s) or term(s). The one that appears more than 700,000 times is recommended.

(c) View bid tool: This tool tells you what advertisers are currently bidding to pay for the word(s) or term(s) i.e. the higher, the better. Words like domain, forex, etc may be getting $6 bid when words like school, books may be $1.Logicaly, you will agree with me that it is better to go for the words that have higher bid. This is a very good tool for Google Adsense.

DOMAIN LOOKUP

Who is? : Is a tool use to view the owner’s or company’s name, postal address, e-mail address and phone number of registered domain name. This will show whether the name has been registered, if not, it will indicate that it is available for registration. If yes, it will also show the date it was registered and when it will expire.

(a) You can simply type whois.com to a web browser address space and lookup for the owner of the domain name. You can also check it out from Dnsstuff.com.

(b) Go to Google.com, type who is in their search box. This takes you to many websites that enable sourcing the owner of domain name or its availability.

DOMAIN REGISTRATION

The Registry is the body that has the power to handle an entire extension (sometimes more than one extension) e.g. Verisign.com is the Registry for all .com and .net domains.Registrar stands as a middleman between the Registry and the public. Most of them can register more than one extension. Examples of registrars are Godaddy.com, 007names.com, Moniker.com, etc. To register, check for the availability of the name, if the .com or .net or .biz or .us has been taken, quickly take .org.(that means the name is widely accepted).

Note: (a) Domain registration is on first come, first serve basis, once any domain is registered, it will not be available. If you want to register any one, please do quickly because any body throughout the world can have the same name in mind.

(b) The shorter the name, the better it is. For it will be easier to remember. It may be difficult to get one word name for popular suffix like .com, .org, .net, .biz, but you can still get from. mobil, .tv, fm, etc.

There are three factors to consider when choosing registrars.
(1) Security: Your domains are your ‘Online estates’ protect them. I will recommend Moniker.com for they have won award on domain security. It is difficult to steal domain from them.

(2) Management: Companies like 007names and Fabulous.com are good at domain management. You can easily sell your domains to buyers.

(3) Price: Many registrars charge high price while some are low. Yahoo.com charges just $1.99 for a first timer only. GoDaddy.com charges less but it takes some time before finishing your registration. They do advertise their products and services. Warning: Be careful if the price is too low for your name may be stolen.

In this article, I am going to discover how to find different money streams with different amount of investment. I believe most of the internet marketers start with little or no money at all. So the first two ways will be popular among the new internet marketers. With little or more money to invest, marketers will move to the second method to actually gain money faster. The last method is much to the final stage of the internet marketer and it require alot of time and efforts. It also requires some investments. Let’s delay no more. Here’s the different money streams that you can find online.

1) Doing surveys, reading ads.
Required investment : None
Personally, I have tried numerous reading ads program. You basically cannot survive just by reading ads. But for the start, it’s good to get some free money. Just try to sign up for 5-10 programs and read ads for one month. It should be able to get some funds for your next stage of internet marketing. With 10 bucks earn from each program, you can get 50 - 100 bucks. Remember, it’s not for surviving. It’s just for funding raising for your next stage of internet marketing. There are some programs that you can join and some that you need to avoid. But basically, you just need to read ads for the first month.

2) Affiliate Marketing.
Required Investment : 50 - 100 USD
This is the second stage for internet marketers and most of the marketers are kinda contented to stay in this stage. Also, there are marketers whom directly go into this stage before the first stage. This is because they are willing to invest a little amount for faster success. The little amount is just 50 USD and it can be easily achieved. However, it is almost the killer step for internet marketers if they just go into this stage directly. Simply, there are too much things to learn about the internet marketing world. Doing affiliate Marketing, there are different steps that you need to follow in order. It is discuss as follows.

Step 1 - Research
Researching about the product is the beginning of the affiliate marketing. The research will be focus on the demand and supply. Let’s take weight loss diet as an example. We need to check on the demand first before we check on the supplies. First, go to a website called, overture. http://inventory.overture.com This is the website where they will generate how much volume are there for a keyword. Input the keyword into the website and it will generate how much people has search for that keyword phrase. If the volume is profitable, then we will continue to search for supply. Supplies can be found in affiliate websites like http://www.cj.com and http://www.clickbank.com. If there is sufficient supplies and demand, we will proceed to the next step. Analysis.

Step 2 - Analysis
Analysis the product whether is it profitable. If the profit that you get for each sale of the product, is less than 15 USD, I will suggest that you look for another product. Unless you are very sure that the product will sell alot. And after analysing the scale of profit, we need to understand the competition. Simply key in the keyword you have into google and see how much return hits it got. If it’s more than 100,000, then I will suggest not to go ahead anymore. It’s a fierce competition that you will be facing if you continue. If it’s under 5,000, it still can be a profitable market for you. After understanding the scale of profit and the competition, the next step will be implementation.

Step 3 - Implementation
This step is often the most tedious step of all. Most marketers want to avoid this step but without this step, all your research before, will be going into the drain. Implementations can come in different form. Depending on how much are you going to invest. One of the best method, is to buy a domain and hosting. Yahoo! Web Hosting is one good suggestion for this. Why buy a domain and web hosting? This is because you will have all the flexibility that a website can have. Imagine getting those free web hosting. When your visitors are reading about your weight loss website and suddenly, Mickey Mouse came out as advertisement. It will tell the visitor how professional is the website. After getting the domain and hosting, you need to create a website. Yes, do not worry. There are tools in Yahoo! to help you to build the website. Also, you need to plan before building your website. It has to be SEO. SEO(Search Engine Optimization) is the step that helps you and your website to be index by the search engine. I will cover SEO in future as it is a very big topic. Next step is known as Testing

Step 4 - Testing
After implementation, you need to do testing. Whether is the web successful or not. It can be easily done by creating 2 similar websites but to different links. Of course, the websites need to target different keywords. Let’s say, the first website targets “weight loss” and the other targets “weight loss diet”. In this way, you will know which one is better and which one needs improvement. Once changes are required, it will trigger the Implementation steps again. Remember Implementation and Testing steps comes in hand by hand.
Here, I have covered the steps that affiliate marketers are doing. If you can do these all correctly, the payback is very high. But it will take several months before it can finally come into fruition.

3) Information Seller.
Required Investment : 100 - 1000USD
This is the final stage of Internet Marketing. The Information Seller. As what its name has suggested, they sell information. This stage requires alot of efforts, research, and experience. Efforts needed to analysis data, manipulate data, and implement strategies. Research is needed to find information beyond information. Experience is needed to implement the whole system into the internet marketing world. The information seller writes ebooks that are on demand. They normally write ebooks with their own experience or interest. In this way, they will be better as they have personal encounters before. While they are writing the ebook, they will need to research more regarding the field they are writing. This leads to more researching. After completing the ebook, they will be uploading it to the affiliate marketplace, like clickbank and cj, and start selling it online. They, themselves, will be applying some internet marketing strategies to kickstart their ebook. And after that, they will rely more to the affiliates to help them promote their ebook.
